Strength Classes
Active Older Adult Strength Training: This 45-minute class enables older adults to maintain an active and independent lifestyle. Through this program you will be able to improve flexibility, balance, strength and your cardiovascular system. Advanced Circuit Class: A 45 minute class is fast pace, intense workout for those with a higher fitness & experience level. This class contains a wide variety of cardio, strength training, and abdominal moves to keep your heart rate elevated and to keep your interest. Beginner Circuit Class: A 45 minute class is an entry level class for those who are inexperienced or unfamiliar with this type of exercise. This circuit includes strength, cardio, and abdominal exercise in a circuit interval setting. Buns Legs Thighs BLT: This class is a quick 20 minute class designed to target those trouble areas of the lower body. B.L.T. is designed to be effective and time efficient to easily compliment your current workouts. Circuit Class: A 45 minute class designed to incorporate strength training and cardio through an interval style workout. The final portion of class will also cover core strengthening and flexibility. Total AB: A 20 minute workout focusing on the abdominals and core strength. Class will include mat work, stability and bosu balls. This quick workout will tighten your core to provide strength and stability for daily living! Circuit Class: A 45-minute class designed to incorporate strength training and cardio through an interval style workout. The final portion of class will also cover core strengthening and flexibility. Rock 'n Stroll: New moms get back into pre-pregnancy shape while spending time with your newborn. First 15 minutes you bond with your newborn doing infant massage in the Sanford Room. Then head to the Circuit studio for resistance and total body conditioning. Total AB: A 20-minute workout focusing on the abdominal and core strength. Class will include mat work, stability and bosu balls. This quick workout will tighten your core to provide strength and stability for daily living! Women's Fitness Network: 45-min. full body workout designed just for women. You can socialize while improving fitness and gathering health information. Final portion of class will target specific body parts including abdominal, inner/outer thigh, and glutes. Working Out For 2: Unique prenatal program designed for expecting mothers no matter the trimester. 1st 30 minutes will be in the Circuit studio with a combination of cardio and resistance training. 2nd 30 minutes is pregnancy focused exercise & relaxation in the Sanford Rm. |
